For Alumni

Alumni play a critical role in the public service at Harvard College by being the eyes and ears in communities to identify summer internships and postgraduate positions and to advise and mentor students. Alumni also report that they find such engagement meaningful, both in giving back to current students and becoming connected to other alumni passionate about public service. We are currently trying to strengthen the connection between public service efforts at Harvard College and alumni, and below are some ways you can get involved.

Advise current students & speaking engagements

We are currently developing a database of alumni serving in public interest fields who are willing to speak at public service events or be contacted by students seeking advice. If you are willing to have your name and email shared for these purposes, we will ensure that your information is only used as needed. Please take a moment to connect with us using this secure link.

Share summer public service opportunities

If you have summer public service internship opportunities to share with Harvard College students, please click here to fill out our online form. The Public Service Offices will review these opportunities and follow up as appropriate.
