Matt Roper is responsible for all financial matters within the Phillips Brooks House. Responsibilities include the management of finances for offices/organizations supported by the Phillips Brooks House including the Center for Public Interest Careers (CPIC), the Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA), and the Public Service Network (PSN). He also assumes primary responsibility for financial matters of PBHA as a separately incorporated nonprofit 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Matt graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance in 2006 and from Boston University in 2013 with an MBA in Nonprofit Management. Previous to joining the Phillips Brooks House and Harvard, Matt worked for Partners in Health as the Manager of Financial Operations focused on building and improving financial processes and systems for the global finance team. He currently lives in Watertown with his wife, Breena, and their 3 pets (two dogs and a cat). He loves to talk about sports and history and is passionate about all levels of education and education reform.
