Varsha  Ghosh
Varsha Ghosh serves as Director of Student Engagement and Leadership, as well as the First Year Urban Program (FUP), a pre-orientation program for first year students. She acts as a key advisor over 40 public service programs in areas of risk manageent, program development, finance and fundraising,  volunteer and community relations. Originally from Queens, NY, she holds a bachelor's degree from Connecticut College, a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and doctorate in higher education leadership from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Her areas of research include civic identity development and engaged learning.  Varsha has twenty years of experience in the non-profit sector, with international and national experience. She has managed programs in philanthropy, human service and community development programs focused on youth development, leadership training, domestic violence, anti-hunger and adult education. She is an alumnus of both AmeriCorps VISTA and the Peace Corps. In her free time, Varsha relaxes by planning her next big international trip, hiking and binging on any streaming channel.
