During Fall 2024 and 2025, we focused on popular education in learning from many movements recent efforts and building power organizers seek to ready themselves for future action. Skill-building moments will combine with intimate speaker stories and questions and a chance to workshop ideas you bring.

To be part of planning or get involved right away in a program offering, email <advocacyhousing@pbha.org> or <sdc@pbha.org> for PBHA-specific programs and <advocacyhousing@pbha.org> , <communityorganizing@pbha.org> , and <vghosh@fas.harvard.edu> for wider local community efforts.

The Advocacy and Organizing workshop series is five-sessions facilitated by professional organizers from community partners and alumni, who introduce leaders to core theories, strategies and tools for being an effective community organizer on campus and off-campus. Whatever issues you are passionate about, these are the tools to understand and effectively contribute to a movement for social change. The group also builds relational bonds for cross-issue support and alliance. Contact Sona at <sdc@pbha.org> if you have any questions.
