CPIC organizes almost 100 paid summer fellowships with public service organizations across the U.S. Click through the navigation menu to the left to view postings by metro area. Most positions will come with a stipend of $4,000, but in some instances where organizations are providing funding, the stipend may range between $3,000 and $5,000. Most summer fellowships last 10 weeks unless otherwise specified.
Applicants must submit a resume, cover letter, student record, and contact information for three references through Harvard’s Crimson Careers application portal in order to be eligible for any CPIC Summer Fellowships. Links to Crimson Careers can be found under each posting on our website. You can also search directly in Crimson Careers using "CPIC" as the keyword.
Please submit the following materials to Crimson Careers by no later than 11:59pm on February 3, 2017:
1) 1 page resume noting your skills, previous employment, extracurricular activities, and volunteer experiences
2) 1 page cover letter highlighting why you are applying for this position
3) a copy of your unofficial student record (found at http://registrar.fas.harvard.edu/student-records)
4) names and contact information for 3 academic and/or professional references
Please download the file below for relevant program stipulations. Graduating seniors can apply for CPIC Summer Fellowships, but returning Harvard College undergrads will be given priority for consideration.
