Jordan Young is a sophomore living in Winthrop House pursuing a double concentration in Government and African and African American Studies. He grew up locally, residing in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Jordan is involved in several public service organizations at Harvard including Treasurer of PBHA, Director of Harvard Organization for Prison Education and Advocacy, and HSHS. He has also participated in several public service related programs such as STRIDE, the Fong Family Winternship Program, and the SPARK program. Outside of public service, Jordan is involved in other organization roles such the Generational African American Student Association as President, Harvard Foundation Student Advisory Committee as Finance Chair, and BLK Capital Management, Corp. as Equity Research Trainee Analyst. Jordan’s plan as Public Service Representative of Winthrop is to encourage everyone’s participation in service! I also want to work to my best ability to connect everyone to all the service opportunities Harvard provides. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out!
