Kelly Sullivan

Community Relations Fellow
Kelly Sullivan

Kelly graduated from Harvard College in 2014, where she studied Sociology and Modern Middle Eastern Studies. Directing the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter as an undergraduate proved instrumental in determining her path to public service. She spent the 2014-2015 academic year as a lecturer at Celal Bayar University in Manisa, Turkey, on a Fulbright fellowship. Having grown up in five different communities across the US, she now calls Boston her home.

As a Community Relations Fellow, Kelly builds new partnerships with organizations in the public interest sector and provides support to existing relationships. She communicates with partners near and far via email, phone, and in-person site visits to find and create fellowship opportunities for Harvard College students. She leads advising for international students and those interested in pursuing international public service work. Her work as a Community Relations Fellow informs her experience in the classroom as she serves as a Teaching Fellow with Dr. Ariane Liazos in the Social Studies Faculty with the engaged scholarship course "Education and Community in America: Universities and Community Engagment".
