As Executive Director of the Bok Center, Tamara provides leadership for programmatic activities to enhance teaching and learning, and she oversees administrative and financial activities at the Bok Center.Tamara has particular interests in science education and active learning. Tamara received a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BA in biochemistry from Swarthmore College. Prior to joining the Bok Center, she served as Associate Director of Life Sciences Education and a lecturer on Molecular and Cellular Biology, and she taught a large introductory life sciences course for Harvard undergraduates.
