Accessibility Statement

Harvard University and the Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship welcome individuals with disabilities to participate in our programs and activities.  If you would like to request accommodations or have questions about the physical access provided at Phillips Brooks House, please contact Thomas Bary at thomas_bary@fas.harvard.edu in advance of your participation or visit.  Requests for Sign Language interpreters and/or CART providers should be made at least two weeks in advance, if possible. Please note that the university will make every effort to secure services, but that services are subject to availability.

To ensure that all of our community members can participate in programming, we will only use the first floor of Phillips Brooks House, outdoor spaces, and alternate venues for all public meetings, including conferences, open houses, and public programs with guest speakers.  We are seeking access to additional venues on campus to fully accommodate civic programming and we will update this page later with information on room booking as soon as possible. The first floor conference room at Phillips Brooks House will be prioritized as a second physically accessible meeting space within the building.  The space is currently being renovated, but we anticipate that it will be ready for meeting use at the beginning of the Fall 2022 semester.

Please visit the University Disability Resources page (also located in the footer of each of our web pages) for a more comprehensive list of resources, information, and support.
