Pathways to Practice

About Us:

The Pathways to Practice team at the Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship offers Harvard College students meaningful, hands-on experiences to explore the field of public service as a potential career path. In partnership with nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations, Pathways to Practice provides a wide range of curated summer fellowships, as well as funding and support for independent public service projects over the summer and winter breaks. Opportunities are available from the time students are admitted as incoming first-years, throughout their four years at Harvard, and into their first post-graduate role.  Whether pursuing a short-term experience over winter break or preparing for a lifelong career in public service, the Pathways to Practice team empowers students to develop their skills, explore new interests, and chart their own unique pathways in the public service field.
