Alis Jones
Alis Jones is the Public Service Representative for Leverett House. A junior hailing from North Wales, Alis is concentrating in Social Studies and is also pursuing a language citation in Mandarin. She is interested in health policy and international development, which have both contributed to her Social Studies Focus Field of ‘Citizenship, Migration, and Health’. Public service has been a key component of Alis’ time at Harvard as she is a Resource Advocate at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, a volunteer for the Small Claims Advisory Service, and serves on the board of the Consent Advocates and Relationship Educators. She is excited to promote public service opportunities among her fellow Leverites this semester, and is particularly looking forward to to building community through service and exposing students to service-related career trajectories. In her free time, Alis enjoys rock climbing, eating, watching Premier League soccer (football!), and talking about Wales.
