Camille Vasquez
AB, Harvard College, 2010. MSW/MBA, Simmons College, 2015. I am currently working as a Rehabilitation Advocate at Riverside Community Care's Needham Community Based Flexible Supports (CBFS) Team. I provide case management services and therapy for adults living with serious mental illness. The program works on goals that are set by the people we serve, with the goal of helping them live meaningful lives in their chosen communities. I have significant experience with adults and elders, and am assisting with program development and evaluation in addition to doing direct clinical social work. I also have experience with advocacy and systems-level analysis of social services and health care.
I mentor a 17-year-old girl through Big Sisters of Boston. We've been matched for almost 4 years, which is actually pretty unusual, and it has been a really good learning experience for both of us.
