Carina Sandoval

Former Service to Society Fellow (2023-2025)

Carina Sandoval (she/her/hers) served as the Service to Society Fellow at the Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship at Harvard College. In her role, Carina is responsible for assisting the Center in coordinating and advising student organizations, promoting public service opportunities on campus, managing communication efforts, and providing logistical support for departmental activities. Originally from Chicago, she earned an A.B. from Brown University in International and Public Affairs (Development) and Urban Studies. She is passionate about educational equity, civic engagement, and deliberative democracy, particularly when it comes to empowering and uplifting the unique perspectives of youth. She is interested in community-based participatory research and local projects. In her free time, you can find her watering her many plants, attempting to rollerskate, or calling her mom.
