Carter is a first-year student from the small town of Hyde Park, Utah, and he currently lives in Hollis South. He plans on joint concentrating in government and religion, in addition to receiving a language citation in Russian. Outside of class, Carter is involved in the Small Claims Advisory Service, the Mission Hill After School Program, Harvard Model Congress, and his church group; he is also a coordinator for the Harvard Financial Aid Initiative. Having seen the blessings of public service in his own life, Carter is very excited to serve on the First-Year Service to Society Council and help increase the awareness and accessibility of public service opportunities for all students.
