Helen is a junior in Adams House concentrating in Chemical and Physical Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. She is passionate about service in health/medicine and education. She is an active volunteer with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in antepartum and postpartum care and the Harris Health System in patient outreach and advocacy. Previously, she has led public health projects with local partners including HealthLeads and VitalCxNs, worked with the Center for Houston's Future as a Harvard College Service Fellow supported by the Service Starts with Summer Program (3SP/SPARK), and served as a Moran Ecoteen Volunteer at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, for which she was awarded the Gold President's Volunteer Service Award in Education. At Harvard, Helen is also involved with the Harvard Premedical Society, The Harvard Crimson, Camp Kesem Harvard Undergraduate, and the Harvard Undergraduate Data Analytics Group. In her free time, she enjoys studio art, cooking, and hiking.
