I graduated from Harvard College in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in History and a certificate in Latin American Studies. At Harvard, I became passionate about access and excellence in higher education after serving for over three years as a Latino Recruiter for the Undergraduate Minority Recruitment Program. Once I finished a Master's in International Relations at the London School of Economics, my passion for education and international development took me to the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and Minerva Schools. I am currently based in Miami, FL, where I serve Miami Dade College as a Special Assistant to President Eduardo Padrón. I am also involved in the local hub of the Global Shapers, a World Economic Forum initiative, and I recently finished a book to inspire high achieving, low income students to reach the nation's top colleges.
