Thuy Phan

Thuy Phan (A.B. 2012, Social Anthropology) will begin working as a Research Assistant at The Disparities Solutions Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in summer 2015, supporting projects to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare locally and nationally. She plans to apply to medical school and is taking her post-baccalaureate classes at the Harvard Extension School. Before transitioning into healthcare, Ms. Phan worked as an AmeriCorps member at Mass Mentoring Partnership in Boston and a fundraiser at National Dance Institute in New York City. To remain engaged in the nonprofit sector, Ms. Phan currently serves as an Operations Ambassador of the Boston Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. She is also a member of the contemporary ballet company DanceVisions, Inc. and performs in venues throughout Boston and Cambridge.
