Varsha  Ghosh
Varsha Ghosh serves as Director of Student Engagement and Leadership, as well as the First Year Urban Program (FUP), a pre-orientation program for first year students. She acts as a key advisor over 40 public service programs in areas of risk manageent, program development, finance and fundraising,  volunteer and community relations. Originally from Queens, NY, she holds a bachelor's degree from Connecticut College, a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and doctorate in higher education leadership from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Her areas of research include civic identity development and engaged learning.  Varsha has over fifteen years of experience in the non-profit sector, with international and national experience. She has managed programs in philanthropy, human service and community development programs focused on youth development, leadership training, domestic violence, anti-hunger and adult education. She is an alumnus of both AmeriCorps VISTA and the Peace Corps. In her free time, Varsha serves on the board of a local community development corporation, and relaxes by planning her next big international trip, hiking and binging on Netflix.
