Winter Break Internships (Winternships) are unpaid internship opportunities that take place during the Harvard Winter vacation in the month of January. Winternships can range in length from one to four weeks and be either part-time or full-time.
Organizations generally post opportunities in October and November and these positions can be found on Crimson Careers. Harvard offers on-campus housing for students participating in public service internships during Winter Break. Most students choose to return to their home cities or remain in Boston, as we do not provide funding for these opportunities. To be eligible for winter housing, students must submit a housing application form, which will be available in mid-September.
