Varsha Ghosh also serves as the Director/Advisor for the First Year Urban Program (FUP). In both capacities, she advises over 40 public service programs and directs the first year pre-orientation social justice education program, known as FUP. Originally from Queens, NY, she is a graduate of Connecticut College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Varsha has over fifteen years of experience in the non-profit sector, with international and national experience. She has managed programs in philanthropy, human service and community development programs focused on youth development, leadership training, domestic violence, anti-hunger and adult education. She is an alumnus of both AmeriCorps VISTA and the Peace Corps. Varsha is also a doctoral student in the Education/Higher Education Program at University of Massachusetts-Boston. 
In her free time, Varsha relaxes by planning her next big international trip, hiking and binging on Netflix.
